Nicole Colbert

My passion for interior design began in Japan, where I was born and first developed an appreciation for beauty, balance, and thoughtful design. I later studied interior design in both Japan and New York City, bringing together two distinct influences — the refined simplicity and attention to detail of Japanese design with the sophistication, creativity, and energy of New York.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including luxury residences, private homes, upscale restaurants, commercial spaces, and high-end jewelry stores. These experiences shaped my approach to design: creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but also functional, comfortable, timeless, and deeply personal to each client.

I specialize in full-service interior design, furniture selection, styling, and decoration, carefully curating every element of a space — from furniture and lighting to colors, textures, artwork, and finishing details. I believe exceptional design is found in the details and in the way every element works together to create a sense of harmony.

My approach begins with listening. I take the time to understand each client's lifestyle, taste, needs, and vision, then transform those ideas into a space that feels uniquely their own. Whether I am designing a private residence, vacation home, restaurant, office, or luxury retail space, my goal remains the same: to create beautiful, elevated environments that combine style, comfort, and purpose — spaces my clients are proud to call their own.
